WILD BOAR KEBAB - also tasty with other types of meat

Homemade, rotated spit grilled over an open fire

Preparation

  1. The day before, cut the meat as flat as possible and into large, thin slices. Mix the spices thoroughly and work them intensively into the meat. Shake off any excess spices from the meat.
  2. Thread a large onion onto the spit rod. Now alternate layers of lean and fatty venison on top and press down firmly. Fix the second onion at the end. Wrap the skewer tightly with cling film and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill. Insert the drip tray and roast the skewer above, turning constantly, until the meat is golden brown and crispy.
  4. Now remove, slice the meat thinly and place the skewer back on the grill.
